We are seeking a Facilities Project Manager for a temporary role lasting approximately 1-2 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the clearance / close down of an office, including cancelling utilities, removing IT equipment, and clearing out furniture. This role requires flexibility in hours and offers a competitive salary.
Day-to-day of the role:- Coordinate with utility companies to cancel services and settle any final accounts.
- Manage the removal of IT equipment, ensuring secure and proper disposal or storage as required.
- Oversee the removal of office furniture and other fixtures, possibly coordinating with recycling firms or donation centres.
- Liaise with property management and leasing agents to ensure all contractual obligations are met during the clearance process.
- Conduct a final walk-through to ensure the space is left in the agreed-upon condition, documenting the process for official records.
- Proven experience in office administration, facilities management, or a similar role involving logistical coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules.
