SEN/Complex Needs Teacher – Godalming - Education & Training

We are seeking an empathetic and experienced teacher to join a specialist school that supports children with high-support autism and profound multiple learning difficulties. This role is ideal for a teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with complex needs while developing their skills in a therapeutic and supportive environment.
About the Role:
- Salary: £150 - £270 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Start Date: Immediately
As an SEN/Complex Needs Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to children with varying levels of learning difficulties, including autism and global developmental delay (GDD). You will design and implement personalised learning plans, create a nurturing and stimulating environment, and use a variety of creative and therapeutic approaches to engage and support the children.
Global Development Delay (GDD):GDD involves significant delays in areas such as motor skills, speech, cognition, and social-emotional growth. In this role, you will support children with GDD, adapting your teaching style to meet their unique needs, ensuring they can engage with and progress in their education.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN or complex needs settings.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient individual with a passion for working with children with complex needs.
- Experience working with children who have autism and/or developmental delays is highly desirable.
- The ability to create and adapt personalised learning plans and therapeutic interventions.
- A proactive and flexible approach, willing to learn and adapt to the individual needs of each child.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
