Job Title: Block Manager

Salary: £40,000- £45,000, Company Car and Package

Working Hours: Monday -Friday 09:00am- 17:30pm

My client, a residential managing agent that have been operating for nearly 20 years are looking for a Block Manager to join the team in Surrey. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio in North London which will be visited one day a week whilst working out of the Surrey office. This is a great opportunity to work for a company that own the blocks, ensuring things move quicker!

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Full management of assigned portfolio
  • Managing planned maintenance
  • Ensuring Section 20 planned maintenance is budgeted for
  • Regular property visits
  • Chairing AGMs
  • Overseeing compliance with safety regulations

Must have:

  • Block management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • A keen problem solver
  • Client facing
  • Strong administration and excellent IT skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships
  • Positive and encouraging attitude

Good to have but not essential:

  • IRPM (TPI) and / or ARMA qualified
