Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractor management and resource allocation.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to uphold safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, mitigate risks and implement effective solutions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Foster strong communication channels with project stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and safety records.

Site Manager Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Site Manager, ideally in care homes and retirement villages
  • Good understanding of the full construction process from pre-planning to completion
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills
