Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in children's lives? Academics is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SALT to join our inclusive and supportive school community.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Speech and Language Therapist at our school, you will:

Assess, diagnose, and support children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).

Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to enhance pupils' communication skills.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate communication strategies into the classroom.

Provide training and guidance to staff to support speech and language development within the school.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) where necessary.

Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.

Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.

The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
