Can you read Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic diagrams? Are you from an Ex-Forces, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, or similar service or maintenance background?On offer is the opportunity to join a Global OEM as a Service Technician where you will service and maintain industrial wind turbines, you will receive OEM specific training and have a focus on your personal and technical development.This is a physically demanding job working at heights, being able to pass a working at heigh medical (Chester step test) is a H&S condition of employment.This top 3 wind turbine employ 13,000+ globally & due to continued growth are growing their Kilbraur Wind Farm team which covers their Golspie/ Brora/ Lairg region. You must live within 1hr of Golspie to be considered for this role.This role would suit an Electrical or Mechanically skilled individual from either an Ex-Forces/REME, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, Maintenance, or similar background, looking for a field service role, OEM training, technical development, with fantastic routes of career progression with an top 3 global wind turbine company.The Role:

  • Service & Maintenance on Wind Turbines
  • Field based, Kilbraur Wind Farm
  • OEM Training and training academy
  • Physically demanding/working at heights
  • Overtime & On call payments + Bonus

The Person:

  • Electrical or Mechanical skills
  • Hydraulics skills (Desirable but not essential)
  • Good levels of personal fitness, Working at Height Medical (Chester step test)
  • Commutable distance to Kilbraur Wind Farm
  • Ex Forces candidates are encouraged to apply and will be provided training (REME, RAF, Marines, Navy etc).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
