Group Financial Controller – Goole – £60,000 - £67,000Chase & Holland are proud to be offering an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, growing, family owned business who have been present in the Yorkshire area for over 200 years. This renowned business is looking for a driven, dynamic GroupFinancial Controller to be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function, as well as overseeing the production of accurate financial and management information. You will have a continuous improvement mentality and always be striving to improve financial controls and reporting. You will be a key player in the Senior Management Team and want to drive change, improvement whilst maximising the businesses return on investment.In return you’ll receive:

Salary £55,000 - £65,000
Car or Call Allowance £7,000
10% bonus based on personal performance

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will include the following duties:

Day to day team management and support of the finance team
Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, MI reporting and commentary
Preparation of quarterly board reporting, including consolidation and detailed commentary
Cashflow management and reporting
Preparation of forecasting and budgeting
Preparation of annual consolidated statutory accounts, corporation tax return and audit management
Ad-hoc group reporting, including shareholder and investment activities and proposals
Lead various projects and site improvement programmes, being a sounding board for the manufacturing teams
Continually review all controls, reporting and procedures to ensure compliance and drive improvements

The ideal candidate will:

Qualified Accountant with sound background in a similar role in a manufacturing setting
Strong team management experience – a leader and motivator
Continuous improvement mentality and ability to drive change
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
