Responsibilities:As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of motors and gearbox components. Your key tasks will include:

  • Efficiently cleaning industrial components using COSHH assessed substances
  • Operating dry ice blasting equipment or industrial wash machines
  • Moving and preparing materials to support production activities
  • Recycling waste/consumable materials as per Company requirements
  • Upholding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in a production environment
  • Ability to work with small parts and interpret technical instructions/diagrams
  • Familiarity with power tools, ideally blast machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge is beneficial
  • Previous experience as an operator or in assembly/manufacturing processes

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous cleaning experience (training will be provided)
  • A proactive approach to health and safety practises

Technologies:

  • Dry ice blasting equipment
  • Industrial wash machines
  • COSHH compliant cleaning substances
