Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of athrivingcivil engineering tier 1 main contractor to work on a large civil engineering project in East Yorkshire initially - further work secured to follow in West, South & East Yorkshire providing plenty of opportunity.

This contractor are one of the largest in the UK and deliver a host of infrastructure works across North of England - with Yorkshire being a particular area of growth currently. An ever-growingwork pipeline made up of over 700m worth of projects is in effect in the region, meaning endless opportunities for the people joining the business now at this level. A strong & increasing presence in Yorkshire!

Projects consist of major highways, public realm developments, A road infrastructure & much more. Involving heavy civils, structures packages, deep drainage & large road construction. Project values from: 5m to 100m+.

Duties as Site Agent:

  • Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects toquality targets and deadlines
  • Writing &updating RAMS
  • Undertaking daily site paperwork
  • Producing programmes & permits
  • Progress meetings
  • Managing site including sub-contractors to ensure quality and H&S standards are delivered
  • Regular updating of construction phase plans
  • Procurement for materials
  • Promoting sustainable solutions for projects
  • Provide reports for projects - costs, budgets, progress etc.

Experience Required as Site Agent:

  • Must haveexperience asSite Agent/ Site Manager on civil engineering schemes for a large main contractor
  • Must have experience delivering: highways, structures & heavy infrastructure packages
  • Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aidand full driving license
  • Beneficial: HNC/HND or Degree in relevant subject, Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator & Appointed Personsetc.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to60,000 (dependant on experience) plus...
