Electrical Design Engineer

An exclusive client of CRP Group is looking to bolster their Design time as part of their growth plans and are looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to their team.

Please note, this client does not have the ability to support workers reqiring visa sponsorship at present, so you must hold the right to work in the UK independently.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative team!

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to design and develop electrical systems for emergency vehicles.
  • Utilise CAD software to create schematic diagrams and layout drawings for vehicle wiring and electrical systems.
  • Participate in prototype development, including hands-on assembly and testing of electrical components.
  • Analyse and interpret data from testing to inform design decisions and improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electric vehicle design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in electrical design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and electrical simulation tools. (Ideally Vesys but training is available)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Flexible hours office based Monday-Thursday with WFH on Fridays. This is based on 37.75 hours per week.
