Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Eggborough/Goole area, excellent salary and shift allowance, day/night shifts

Our client is a well-established, successful manufacturing company, commutable from Doncaster, York, Wakefield, Leeds, Scunthorpe, West Hull, Goole and Selby to name a few.

The role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be to oversee production shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and providing immediate assistance for breakdowns.

The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include conducting both reactive and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, monitoring plant performance to pre-empt failures, collaboration with supervisors, contributing to improvement initiatives, and participating in project discussions. Additionally, the position requires electrical support during shutdowns.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Time served or suitably recognised qualifications in production or electrical engineering
  • Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance
  • Computer literacy,
  • Understanding of basic programming to allow fault PLC finding
  • Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks to safe levels
