Siamo are recruiting multiple full time permanent Manufacturing Technicians for our well-known client based in Gilberdyke. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team!

Shifts are a mixture of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts per week. This is on a 3 week rolling rota. This will be 48 hours worked per week.


Pay Rate:
Ā£32000 per annum plus 20% shift allowance

About the role:
You will be working along (not restricted to) a Delnet line - a manufacturing line that takes raw material and transforms it through various stages to an end product. You will be responsible for the different stages of the raw material being converted into a product which is predominantly used in medical applications. This is very precise work which requires an eye for detail.

It is important that the line speed is maintained through working practices and within validated ranges without compromising product quality.

You will liaise with Engineering support teams to ensure issues are recorded and actioned according to their criticality to HSE, Quality & Productivity.

You will help to embed Continuous Improvement as part of normal day activities, with idea generation underpinning teamwork.

You will ensure Overall Equipment Efficiencies (OEE) is recorded and maximized by carrying out start-ups & changeovers to the required Safety, Quality and Time standards.


About you

You should be a positive, enthusiastic person?who is comfortable to work independently whilst being part of a small team. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow strict Health and Safety guidelines. You will be working long shifts (12-hour days) within a small team that is passionate about the business.

A background in manufacturing / engineering (especially plastic extrusion) is advantageous, however not essential. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record with work ethic, productivity and progression within a workplace.


The successful candidates will have the following:
  • Attention to Detail
  • Excellent Time Keeping?and attendance
  • Must be able to speak and communicate in English as this will involve accurate completion of paperwork
  • Maintaining a clean room environment
  • Heavy lifting involved?of up to 20kgs
  • Experience in engineering / manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Plastic extrusion experience is advantageous, however not essential

Own transport would be needed to get to and from work due to location and shift times
