We are looking for Multi Skilled Production Operative to join our Client's existing team at their site based in Rawcliffe, Goole.

Description

As a Multi Skilled Production Operative you will be working within the Conversion, Finishing Hall, Assembly area. Your main duties will be to operate the production machines, assemble products within optimum output and enhance productivity and to produce products to accepted quality standards determined the Company and Customer requirements.

As a Multi Skilled Production Operative you will be trained and signed off to run machines in multiple areas of the factory

Ensuring you comply with all Health and Safety standards in line with the Company's policies and procedures and to raise any matters of concern with management. Maintaining a clean and organised area of work.

Profile

  • Numerate and literate
  • Computer literacy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • A good team player able to adapt to different situations.
  • The ability to work to achieve tight deadlines, often under some pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative, and have a 'can do' attitude
  • Self-motivation and the drive and enthusiasm to contribute to the Plant's continuous improvement process
  • The ability to understand and learn new technology quickly, with a genuine desire to develop.
  • Previous manufacturing experience essential preferably within a Packaging / FMCG industry

Job Offer

  • Salary of £28,897 depending on experience
  • Current shift pattern is double days rotating weekly 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 Monday to Friday.
  • Generous production bonus paid monthly or yearly after the probation period (£3.5k in 2023).
  • Opportunity of a £650 'Sign on Bonus' within the first 6 months.
  • Generous Contributory Pension Scheme which increases to 10% employer contribution after 2 years' service.
