We are seeking a reliable and hardworking general labourer to join our team on a short-term contract for a new build housing project in Howden. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant development and gain valuable experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including material handling, site cleanup, and general maintenance.
- Support skilled workers with tasks such as digging, shuttering, and concreting.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on a construction site as a general labourer is preferred.
- A valid CSCS card.
- A strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to safety and following instructions.
