Job Title: Senior IT Project ManagerLocation: Howden, East Yorkshire (Hybrid)Hours/Duration: Full-time, 5 days per weekThe Role of Senior IT Project ManagerOur client, who is one the UK's leading trade suppliers, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager who holds SAP experience. The Senior IT Project Manager will support the growth in existing and new markets and specifically the implementation of SAP S4 HANA with RISE, to transform the ways of working across the business. This is a hybrid role, splitting your time between onsite 3 days per week in Howden, East Yorkshire, and remotely for the other 2 days.Key Responsibilities As the Senior IT Project Manager you will:

  • be responsible for the overall management, control, and delivery of business-critical projects
  • work closely with your stakeholders to define project deliverables
  • deliver projects on time and to agreed budgets in a fast-paced environment
  • be responsible for end-to-end project management, from planning, forecasting, reporting project cost, resource planning, risk/issue management and stakeholder management

About youCandidates will have a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects, ideally with a minimum of 5+ years within a dedicated IT Project Manager role. You will also have the following experience:

  • a track record of successfully delivering complex, system implementation and transformation projects ideally within a large organisation
  • expert in project planning, control techniques and tools
  • expert in MS Project Professional ideally connected to MS Project Online
  • good business knowledge and commercial awareness
  • exceptional communication, persuasion and influencing skills with all stakeholders
  • previous budget management experience
  • competent with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • highly organised and driven with a can-do attitude, able to work to deadlines and motivate others to hit milestones
  • applicants with experience managing projects with a focus on logistics or finance/accountancy is essential as is someone who has SAP project exposure
  • you will be an excellent communicator & planner with gravitas and credibility to work with senior business managers
  • project management qualifications (e.g., Prince 2 or PMI, MBA) preferred
