The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position is available with a leading manufacturing company near Eggborough, Goole.
The role offers a salary of £53,245 with annual pay increases and includes excellent training and career development opportunities.
Working hours are structured in a Panama shift pattern of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, and 3 off, with 12-hour day and night shifts.
Candidates are required to have a recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, along with experience as a time-served mechanical engineer or fitter.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer;

Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
Monitor & supply engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Keeping and implementing plant wide PPM structures ensuring H&S, quality assurance as well as liaising with Engineering Stores
Working within a small Team and along side contractors to diagnose breakdowns and Mechanical Faults across the Plant

Experience and Qualifications Required for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer;

Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or HNC and HND - Mechanical
Time served Mechanical Engineer or Fitter
Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
