Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical/Mechanical
- Team Leader/supervisory experience.
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance supervisory activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, including focusing on continuous improvement, working on a number of process machinery lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with ideally additional qualifications and you will have multi-skilled knowledge. You will also be able and willing to be involved in general engineering work on PPM systems and team development within the manufacturing process machinery area. There will be special consideration for any candidates with knowledge of TPM and RCM maintenance activities as the company look to improve their reliability function. The organisation has a very proactive development plan in place and will develop their employees with opportunities overseas as well as funded university programmes.
