Our client, Ingredion, a global leader in ingredient solutions, is seeking a Shift Process Operatorto join the team in Goole. In this role, you'll be responsible for learning and operating the slurry makeup process and drum dryers to ensure high-quality product output that meets customer specifications. You'll also gain knowledge of the plant's ancillary equipment. Working on a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, you will play a key role in supporting our production of ingredients used in everyday products from food and beverages to pharmaceuticals.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, hygiene, and production procedures as well as relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including checks, inspections, and test results.
  • Complete hygiene schedules as required, maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues, production delays, process challenges, or quality concerns to the shift supervisor.
  • Ensure recipe accuracy and conduct in-process tests, reporting any deviations to the supervisor.
  • Keep the workspace tidy and safe, and ensure all plant equipment and utensils remain in optimal working condition.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
