Here at Laila Edinburgh, our two city centre locations offer quirky and innovative food and drinks served in fun surroundings. As Edinburgh's most instagrammable brunch business, the food and drinks must look good as well as tasting good.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Manager who has the vision, experience and motivation to help drive forward our service and help support us to meet the challenges ahead.

The role.

As Manager, you will oversee the day to day operations at Laila, sharing your time between the two locations. We want to work with someone who has passion for drinks, food and customer service - in equal measure. We are focused on quality in every respect.

The role requires the following skills and experience:

A proven record of overseeing a hospitality operation of the highest quality

A passion for, and knowledge of good food and drinks

Excellent communication skills with a genuine appreciation of what it takes to provide excellent customer service

A proven people manager recruiter, trainer & team leader who is capable of driving quality through every aspect of the business, via a team motivated and driven by you

Understanding of back of house systems and strong financial awareness

An understanding of how to deliver great food daily, with consistency, in tandem with our chefs

An awareness of current legislation affecting all aspects of a hospitality provider

Ability to implement policies and operational changes as agreed; then revisit and ensure systems are firmly in place

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
