Deputy General Manager Rewards:

The successful Deputy General Manager will be offered a competitive salary of£35-38k, plus tronc, plus bonusand additional company benefits. A total package of circa£45k+awaits the next superstar.

The Place:
Our client, a prestigious Bar and Restaurant Group has an exciting opportunity for a Hands-on Deputy General Manager to work in a multi-functional unit in the city centre of Edinburgh. This role has arisen due to the group's continued success, which has led to management restructuring. The property is an extremely popular destination for locals and is situated in a prime location in the heart of Edinburgh's city centre.

The Job:

Taking responsibility and overseeing all food & beverage operations within this location along with the GM, you will lead from the front and be the pivotal Deputy General Manager of this unique location. As Deputy General Manager, youll train, develop and motivate the team; improving and maintaining standards to ensure the guests needs are met and exceeded. Working closely with your GM and team you will ideally be from an F&B hands-on background and not be adverse to a fast-paced high customer turnover environment.The site will be predominantly weekend business-led and partial late evening trade with a strong emphasis on the beverage side of the business; however, an understanding of Brasserie food operations is also essential. It is attention to detail in this quality environment which is the key, to the implementation of customer service and guest experience in what will be a very operational and fast-paced, hands-on role.

ThePerson:

Previous experience working and developing licensed businesses in high-volume and quality venues is essential. You will be experienced in either hotel, catering or preferably a restaurant business, be proactive in generating and driving sales, and be inspirational to your team. You will also ensure compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety Legislation is adhered to.
