Job Overview
As a Sous Chef at our establishment, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in the kitchen. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen and the delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests.
Duties
- Supervising kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation activities
- Assisting in menu planning and ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new recipes and innovative dishes
Experience
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef working in a restaurant kitchen environment
- Strong background in food preparation and culinary techniques
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff effectively
- Hospitality-focused approach to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Salary
- OTE - £42k = salary £30K, tips £12k
