The Place:

Our global client is now looking for an experienced Sushi Sous Chef to join a very successful brigade as they continue to grow. Ultimately, they are looking for those extremely passionate about food and eager to learn, situated in Edinburgh.

The Job:

As Sushi Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing quality seafood products as well as inspecting all supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure company standards are maintained at all times. You will create and develop unique food offerings that provide guests with a variety of selections of top-quality cuisine that represent this global brand. You will nurture, train and develop your team and be able to educate the front-of-house team on all dishes and the products used.

The Person:

Our client is looking for that extra exceptionalSushi Sous Chef who has solid knowledge of all seafood products and can skillfully apply culinary techniques to all dishes. Desirably if you have atleast 3-5 years of Japanese cuisine experience, a proven track record of working in successful teams as a Sous Chef or above capacity, and possess excellent knife skills as well as expertisein standardizing recipes, fish prep at all times in a highly compliant environment.
