Role: Data Governance Manager/SME

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow

Salary and benefits: Competitive

New Data Governance role with our growing FinTech client. This role you will report into the Data Governance Lead. You will support them on the roll out of the business' new data governance strategy.

This role will involve:

Compliance and Assurance: Conduct assurance reviews and oversight activities to ensure adherence to established policies and standards, and complete monthly reporting to monitor and communicate the effectiveness of data governance efforts.

Critical Data Asset Assessment: Lead the identification and prioritisation of key data assets, and act as the primary contact for data governance, providing strong stakeholder management.

Governance Activities: Support the development and maintenance of governance activities, including the review and updating of data processing records, ensuring all activities are accurately documented and compliant with legal requirements.

Experience required for the role:

Experience working in a Data Governance role, with any industry experience welcome.
