Role: Senior Information Security Analyst

Location: Edinburgh (flexibly hybrid)

Our global Financial Services client is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong SOC background who is keen to join a scaling security function.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead incident response and SOC activities
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure appropriate security detection and response
  • Drive improvement of detection and monitoring strategies
  • Scaling up the security team and response capabilities to improve security posture

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in SIEM, SOAR, and working within a SOC
  • Extensive incident response experience in a cloud environment
  • Strong collaborative mindset and attention to detail
  • Understanding of programming and scripting languages
