APPSEC ENGINEER - INFOSEC - FINTECH - FINANCIAL SERVICES - PERMANENT - EDINBURGH - HYBRID

Role: Engineer, Application Security (permanent)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Location: Edinburgh (flexibly hybrid)

Harvey Nash is looking for an AppSec Engineer to join our Edinburgh-based client who is building out their InfoSec team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic FinTech company that is experiencing significant growth in their market.

This person will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing security controls
  • Conducting technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders for remediation plans
  • Maintaining control systems and integrations
  • Supporting audit and due diligence activities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Information Security experience, ideally in financial services.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure software development
