Our international client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the Team for a period of 12 months, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

As ER Specialist you will lead on employee relations cases, providing a proactive and pragmatic approach to stakeholders on employee relations issues and broader change management advice and working closely with the HR Business Partners. This is a varied and interesting role and will include the following:

- Providing expertise and support to business leaders and HR including advice on a wide variety of people issues including performance, complex cases, hearings, and appeals.

- Taking a proactive approach on disciplinary, grievance and appeal cases, managing the overall process.

- Leading on investigations, making recommendation of a high standard and creating reports.

- Redundancy and restructure cases & projects working alongside the wider HR team.

- Delivering high quality support on TUPE, flexible working requests and sickness as well as contractual queries ensuring a consistent approach to employee relations.

- Coaching and advising leaders and the wider HR team.

- Maintaining and tracking case management records and reporting on the associated data.

- Delivery of ER training to managers and HR.

- Ongoing development of best practice Employee Relations.

Experience within a professional setting ie professional services, financial services, business services is highly advantageous

Salary is up to £57,000 per annum (Fixed Term Contract, 12 months)

Hybrid working, based Edinburgh or Glasgow.
