Remuneration:£35,000 + Bonuses

The role of the Internal Sales Timber & Building Products will involve:
Internal sales position, selling a range of timber & building products into the construction industry such as: sheet materials, building materials, workwear, windows, doors, cladding, fencing, bathroom products, decking etc.
You will be selling into main contractors, sub-contractors & DIY end users
90% of your time will be spent conducting outbound calls with the remaining time being spent assisting customers or on the trade counter
Uncovering new sales opportunities and developing new spending accounts
Maintaining relationships with existing customers
Raising quotations and following up
Possessing a good understanding of the product range
Dealing with accounts spending from £50,000 - £1m per year
The ideal applicant will be Internal Sales Timber & Building Products with:
Must have current sales experience within a builders merchant, minimum 2 years
Ideally you will have an existing portfolio/customer base
Ideally within an internal sales or sales negotiator position
Highly organised, motivated and driven
Excellent communication skills written and verbally
Must be computer literate
Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
