Multi skilled Engineer – Electrically Biased

Winner are working with a Global Service Provider who are looking for a Multi skilled Engineer across a static site. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a business who is offering security and stability and additional training if desired.

The ideal candidate will have a background within the Built Estate Environment and comfortable working on their own completing various task such across a large single site. The beauty of this role is you can make it your own and build on your relationship with the client and staff on site.

You role and responsibilities

  • You will be based across a single site on a prestigious site which is made up of a few building all within close proximity to each other
  • You will be the main Engineer on site for the Service Provider so will be working closely with staff to ensure tasks are completed to the right standard
  • You will complete PPMs and reactive work across mainly fabric tasks with some electrical work, such as painting and decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry, joinery and emergency light testing
  • You will have a apprentice on site supporting you who you can guide and utilise for various tasks across the site
  • Working closely with sub-contractors on site when needed
  • Ensure compliance is followed on site and you work in line with Health and safety standards
  • Deal with any escalation on site from the client and suggest pro active solutions to ensure the client is happy and escalated this up the management team if necessary

What you will need

  • Previous experience within a similar role is essential ideally for another Facilities Management Service Provider
  • Relevant qualifications such as IOSH, Level 2 or 3 in electrical installation, 18th Edition wiring regs
  • You will be confident working on your own and able to perform tasks un supervised
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong work ethics with practical skills and strong problem solving mindset
