We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a company that was established over 20 years ago and has since grown from strength to strength, they now have a proud reputation within the market. As part of their mission to build world-class embedded systems, they are looking for a talented and passionate Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a strong passion for building software that interacts with hardware, we'd love to hear from you!

You will work on designing, maintaining and developing embedded software for their next generation of key products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide and deliver high quality software solutions for a range of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded software for microcontrollers and other embedded systems.
  • Create and refine firmware to enable communication with hardware components, sensors, and external devices.
  • Build software solutions for system integration, as well as testing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure smooth integration between hardware and software components.
  • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • Experience with 1 or more of these programming languages - C#, Python, Swift, Java
  • Experience working with Embedded Systems
  • Knowledge with software design documentation approaches
  • Wireless connectivity e.g Bluetooth
