  • ASAP Start- March 2025

  • £28.14- £32.41 Outside IR35

Must have the following :

  • 360 Roto Driver
  • CSCS / Fire Warden
  • COSHH
  • Manual Handling
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • MEWP
  • AIS/GIS Preferred
  • Working at Height
Description:
Main Purposes of Job
1. This role is to assist SE work within a site team on mechanical installation activities.
2. Reports to Site Supervisor, or chargehand as required by deployment.
3. Duty of care for themselves and all individuals on site to ensure that they work safely at all times.

Key Tasks
1. Works to all applicable Siemens Energy QEHS procedures as briefed in the site induction.
2. Carries out any other duties within their competence to the relevant quality / industry standards as directed by the Site Supervisor.
3. Operate within timescales set out by their Work Party Leader and highlight potential deviations in advance.

Key results/ Objectives
1. Adhere to the site rules as briefed to them by the Chargehand, Site Supervisor / Site Manager.
2. Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actions and assist in creat-ing required documentation within the project mile-stone dates
3. Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team to the required timescale and comply with timesheet and expenses submission timescales.

Experience
Apprentice trained, C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 (Ap-propriate Course) plus 1 years? experience. Or an industry recognised training with a minimum of 2 years? experience as part of a team on an Electricity Supply Industry construction site or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas or General Construction Sites).
Comply with health, safety, quality, and environmen-tal legislation / practice within a substation envi-ronment, for example, National Grid, SSE, SPEN etc.
Requires the presence and personal qualities neces-sary to effectively work within a team or individually as required.
