Cobalt are recruiting on behalf of a leading Managing Agent, renowned within the Real Estate industry, for an exceptional opportunity as a Technical Services Manager. This role is based at a prestigious site in Edinburgh and offers the chance to join a market-leading organisation with an outstanding reputation for excellence.
As the Technical Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the on-site team, overseeing all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing M&E projects from inception to completion.
- Ensuring all systems are maintained to the highest standards.
- Monitoring and managing service partners to deliver optimal performance.
- Conducting audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Supporting sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Acting as a technical advisor to both the client and the wider team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong technical background, with experience in M&E or building services management.
- A track record of managing large-scale projects and technical teams.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, building services, or a related discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
