The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java, possess expertise in automation tools like Selenium and Cucumber, and have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related technologies such as Jenkins and Git. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks while guiding best practices and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Lead the selection and implementation of test automation tools and technologies.
  • Develop automated test scripts using Java and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure high code quality standards and best practices are followed in test automation.
  • Assess and improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA and development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to enhance test automation quality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Extensive experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related technologies (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Experience with test management tools and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of coding standards, best practices, and patterns.
  • Ability to assess and improve code quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
