We are working with a growing and highly reputable facilities management contractor who are a genuinely fantastic company to work for, look after their staff well and have established and stable contracts nationwide.
As a Multi Skilled Carpenter, your main responsibilities will be;
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out a wide range of carpentry works as well as building maintenance within live buildings, accommodation units and laboratory environments to name a few.
- Works involve Carpentry as well as general building maintenance
- Working mobile
- Working on commercial sites
- Carry out minor small work alterations and installations in accordance with current specifications.
- You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Providing excellent customer service when on site.
- Identify non-repairable issues and promptly advise the Regional Supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable alternatives.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for our Fabric Engineer role;
- You will be experienced in joinery or carpentry is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- CSCS Skill card (Joiner);
- Experience of undertaking plumbing/drainage works and PAT testing;
- SPA, IPAF & PASMA
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- You will have worked on commercial sites
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
