Electronic Survey Engineer (Technician) 

Great Yarmouth 

Up to £35,000 DOE + Offshore Bonus (£80 to £140 per day) + Bonus Plan + Medical Insurance + Social Events + Holidays + Wellness Day + Pension 

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 

Survey Engineer required for a company who are known globally as a leading provider of subsea equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a company who are recognised for the quality of their products, and you will play an integral role in their development. 

This role offers great variety as it is split between onshore and offshore work. The frequency will depend on the successful candidate and the work requirements, however this could vary anywhere between 1 week per year to a collective 5 months a year.

The successful candidate will need previous experience working with electronic engineering principles. You can come from any industry background. 

You will be responsible for the preparation and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire, including carrying out function tests and updates to software and firmware. You will also be required to work on client vessels and platforms where you will check and inspect equipment on mobilisation, helping with set up and troubleshooting to successful conclusion. 

Electronic Survey Engineer Role:

Onshore: 

· Preparation and inspection of equipment before and after rental
· Function testing
· Software / Firmware updates
· Ensure equipment is packed correctly
· Identify in-house and external repairs needed 

Offshore:

· Checking and inspecting equipment
· Supporting set up, interface and function tests
· Troubleshooting
· Demobilisation of equipment before dispatched back to base
 
The Electronic Survey Engineer Candidate: 

· Working knowledge of electronic engineering principles
