R&D Manager required to join an expanding R&D team within a company who are known globally as a leading provider of subsea equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a company who are recognised for the quality of their products and you will play an integral role in their development.
The successful candidate will need previous experience developing electronic products, including firmware and software with proven project management experience. You will also need experience in a management / supervisory position.
Reporting into the Group Products and Technology Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products. You will oversee and manage NPD projects from initiation through to completion.
The R&D Manager Role:
路 Oversee NPD process
路 Oversee R&D responsible for product design
路 Setting and monitoring team objectives
路 Day-to-day management of the team, annual reviews, recruitment
路 Oversee design verification, BOMs, training etc.
The R&D Manager Candidate:
路 Hold a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject including electrical engineering, electronics, physics, maths etc.
路 Electronic product development experience
路 Project management experience
路 Experience in a management / supervisory role
