V3 are recruiting for a business Development Executive for a large Logistics company based in Gosport.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and developing strategies to expand their market presence.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for researching and identifying potential clients, generating new prospects and driving business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create customized solutions that meet the needs of our clients while contributing to the company's revenue goals. This is a dynamic role requiring a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for business development.

This role is office based and requires travel to the central office. As such candidates will need to be within commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities across a range of industries, selling domestic and international solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing regular updates on progress and performance
Create and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to potential and existing clients
Work with the Commercial team to agree pricing strategies and negotiate profitable contracts with prospects
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients
Attend industry events and network with key stakeholders to promote company services
Conduct market evaluations to understand customer needs and industry trends

Requirements/Experience:
Educated to a minimum of A level or equivalent
Proven experience in sales and new business development
Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, warehousing operations and international distribution/freight services
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good level of IT literacy, Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
