The Role: As an Online CNC Programmer, you'll be responsible for creating and managing CNC programs remotely using Autodesk Fusion and other CAM software for Heidenhain machines. You'll design and generate machining code to ensure precision in the cutting and shaping of materials, without needing to be physically present at the machine. With your expertise in multi-axis, turning, and milling processes, you'll help us continue to deliver top-tier aerospace components with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use Autodesk Fusion and other CAM software to design and create CNC programs for Heidenhain 5-axis machines.
  • Provide programming support for multi-axis turning, milling, and other precision machining operations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machining processes remotely, ensuring high-quality production standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Support the development of new automation and rapid response processes to streamline production.
  • Work with a variety of tools, including wire cutting, laser processes, bead blasting, and assembly systems.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-precision components for aerospace and other sectors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CNC programming with Autodesk Fusion or similar CAM software.
  • Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machines, preferably Heidenhain-controlled.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace precision engineering, including multi-axis machining, turning, milling, and related processes.
  • Familiarity with wire cutting, automation, laser, and bead blasting is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage online CNC programming effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot programming or machining issues remotely.
