Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wirer to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring electronic components and assemblies according to technical specifications and industry standards. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wiring and Assembly: Accurately wire electronic components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and functional tests to ensure high standards of quality and reliability are met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of wiring and assembly processes, including any modifications or issues encountered.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to ensure seamless integration of wired components into final products.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address any wiring issues, proposing solutions and improvements as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar wiring role within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain security clearance (British applicants only).
Additional Information:
- Hours: Mon-Fri 37h/week
- Work Environment: Workshop-based, with adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Training: On-the-job training provided to ensure familiarity with company-specific processes and standards (IPC).
