Dental Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly. Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, providing chairside support.


• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.


• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.


• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance.


• Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.


• Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions.


• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of patient care is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or equivalent experience.


• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.


• A compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
