- Deliver training in Electrical and Electronic principles in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
- Assess student coursework and provide constructive feedback on performance.
- Ensure the duty of care for trainees during the delivery of training.
- Perform equipment maintenance within the scope of relevant qualifications and experience.
- Ensure compliance with company security, health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Consolidated experience (within the last 5 years) or direct employment in electrical and electronic engineering principles.
- Previous knowledge of the application of marine electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to Level 2 and 3 Electrical Engineering courses, including an awareness of Electrical Theory, Electrical Safety, Power & Distribution, High Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment, Electrical Maintenance, Damage Control, and Waste Processing.
- Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian electrical and electronic environment (ideally within the last 5 years)
- Experience in the development of electrical and electronic engineering-based training courses
- Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion) - Desirable
- Proficiency in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
