Your new companyThis is a successful, international manufacturing business which specialises in product testing for a portfolio of valued clients. Their team is made up of many experienced and highly skilled professionals committed to providing an exceptional service at all times. Your new roleAs an HR Advisor reporting to an experienced Head of HR, your job is to ensure all HR work is carried out across a few UK sites in a timely manner, providing a great service to all employees. This is a varied HR generalist role with responsibility for supporting recruitment and onboarding, leading and supporting ER case work, and advising colleagues on legislation and HR best practice - coaching them as required. You will also lead payroll across 5 sites (3 in the UK and 2 internationally) working with an external payroll provider and with support from an internal HR Administrator. Rare travel is required to 2 other UK sites, but no more than once a quarter (3-4 times / year).Working hours are 37.5 / week, 8am-4pm (Monday-Friday) including a 30-minute lunch. This opportunity also offers hybrid work of 3 days based in their Gosport office vs 2 days WFH each week. What you'll need to succeedThis role will either suit an HR generalist with some experience of payroll and a willingness to work in a dual role (approx 60% HR vs 40% Payroll / week), or someone who has worked in a joint HR and Payroll position previously. CIPD Level 5 is preferred, but you must have CIPD Level 3 (minimum) to be considered. The successful applicant will be a personable, proactive individual who is highly capable and can work autonomously as required, but with support from an HR Administrator and guidance from a knowledgeable Head of HR based off-site, but who is available for ongoing support and visits Gosport a few days each month.
