Role Overview
The Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in the depots operations and profitability. This role requires a skilled manager capable of leading a high-performing team, developing customer-focused solutions, and ensuring operational efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to future sustainability and growth by meeting customer and financial objectives and promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards across all logistics operations.
  • Operational Management: Plan and oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, scheduling, and vehicle management.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to drive improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Develop a motivated, productive team environment, providing coaching, setting objectives, and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Client and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, working closely to align operations with business development strategies.
  • Budget Management: Ensure financial targets are met by managing resources effectively and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review processes for warehouse and transport efficiency, updating protocols as needed.
