Refrigeration Trainer - £36,500 starting salary, permanent position, onsite work. Location, Gosport. Pension & enhanced leave allowance available.

Responsibilities:

  • To train within the Refrigeration Training Area, theoretical and practical technical training on Mechanical refrigerationl engineering techniques, complex systems routines, maintenance, diagnostics and repair techniques in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training procedures.
  • Act as the Module Responsible Instructor (MRI) and maintain and update training documentation.
  • To assess trainee course work and provide feedback on performance
  • To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
  • To carry out the level 0 and level 1 training equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
  • Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times direction.
  • Ensure that training aids and facilities are properly maintained and continue to operate iaw with the relevant classroom risk assessments
  • To organise, invigilate and mark examinations applicable to their course IAW Authority guidelines.
  • To assess course performance and provide trainee feedback to the Quality Cell and Department Training Manager.
  • To monitor attendance for all personnel attending the courses they are responsible for and to report missing students to Dept and course management.
  • To provide specialist advice to other functional groups where competent and contracted to do so.
  • To complete all mandatory training and 6 monthly Training delivery assessmentTo maintain a portfolio of experience and training in relevant format as applicable.

Required experience:

Essential

  • Minimum qualification of Level 3 National Diploma or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Consolidated experience (within last 5 years), or directly employed in Marine Mechanical systems to include skill of hand techniques & engineering
  • F-Gas certified

Desirable

  • L4 Trainer Course (successful completion) or equivalent
