We are currently recruiting an Electrical Wiring and Assembly Specialist to work in our electrical assembly department. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in wiring connectors and working with intricate, delicate electrical parts. You'll need to be familiar with a wide range of connectors and possess excellent attention to detail to ensure that our products meet rigorous aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical components, ensuring accuracy and reliability in each build.
- Perform intricate tasks such as soldering, crimping, and connector wiring to exact specifications.
- Work with sealants, adhesives, and potting compounds to protect electrical assemblies.
- Maintain detailed job cards and ensure all material traceability throughout the build process.
- Collaborate closely with the team while also working independently when needed.
Essential Requirements
- Connector Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with various types of wiring connectors, particularly in complex and delicate assemblies.
- Ability to interpret and work from detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong skills in wiring, soldering, and crimping, with attention to precision and care.
- Familiarity with electrical standards and practices, especially in high-stakes environments like aviation.
- Previous experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies, ideally in the aerospace or defence sectors.
