Academics are recruiting on behalf of a 'Good' Primary School in Fareham who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher. This is a full-time, fixed term contract (maternity cover) to start ASAP.
The successful candidate will be a confident and competent Year 3 teacher with high expectations of children´s academic, emotional and social development. Experience in Year 3 is essential. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, and be skilled in identifying gaps in pupils' knowledge and know how to bridge these. The candidate will also be passionate and driven and willing to 'go that extra mile' for our pupils.
As this is a contract role, you will be required to carry out full teaching responsibilities. The successful Year 3 Teacher will:
- Have qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Be able to show evidence of good practice as a teacher in the classroom
- Have the highest expectations of children and themselves and want to develop their career in a supportive learning community
- Be passionate about the learning and welfare of children, are imaginative and forward thinking
- Have the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
- Be able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
