Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team on a contract basis in Gosport. This role focuses on ensuring that the highest standards of quality are met within the Defence, Aerospace, and Maritime industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Utilising IPC 620 standards for wire and cable assemblies
- Documenting inspection results and reporting any issues or defects
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements specific to Defence projects
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quality inspection within the Defence, Aerospace, or Maritime sectors
- Essential understanding and application of IPC 620 standards
- Must be a Sole British National and born in the UK, due to specific project requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
