Our client has an opportunity for a Procurement Agent - OEMs to join them on a 12-month contract. As the Procurement Agent you will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our clients service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

Role: Procurement Agent - OEMs
Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Shifts: Onsite
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Hourly Rate: Discussed on Application
Contract: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.
  • Engaging stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimizing execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
  • Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
  • Mitigating risks and issues. Initiating supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
  • Performing continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Preparing and executing proprietary information agreements.
  • Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicating performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of the commodity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP knowledge.
