Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and improvement planning
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters scientific curiosity and academic excellence
  • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Is degree educated in a relevant field and can demonstrate strong subject knowledge.
  • Shows commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a love for Science
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
