U-educate are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants for a Secondary School based in Gosport, PO12. We have several learning support roles available at this setting. They are all full time, temp to perm roles with immediate starts.
Job Description
- Lesson Assistance: Work alongside the lead teacher to prepare materials and support lesson delivery.
- Oneon-One Tutoring: Provide tailored support to students who require additional help grasping the subject matter.
- Behavioural Support: Help manage classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Inclusive Education: Promote a sense of belonging for all students, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Peer Interaction: Encourage and facilitating positive interactions between students.
- RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and specific needs.
- Resource Management: Assist in the organisation and preparation of teaching resources.
- Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs: Many students have unique learning requirements, such as special educational needs (SEN). Learning Support Assistants provide tailored support to help these children achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Previous learning/classroom support experience
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
- Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with Ueducate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
