Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experiencedGeneral Foreman / Site Supervisor / Site Manageron behalf of a regional civil engineering sub-contractor to oversee daily delivery of a project starting near Gowdall.
Initial Gowdall project programmedfor 5 months but with all the work expecting to be won, the successful person in this role should have further work with this business.
Scope of works:deep excavations up to 6m, large diameter pipework, deep drainage, ducting, combined sewer overflows (CSO's) & general civils work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting main contractor on site in daily delivery
- Coordination of 3 DLO gangs on site
- Daily briefings
- Toolbox talks
- Monitoring H&S on site
- Ordering materials
- Attending progress meetings
- Plant checks & permits
Experience required:
- Must haveexperience asGeneral Foreman / Site Supervisor / Site Manager on heavy civil engineering schemes involving deep drainage, pipework, ducting etc.
- Must have experience dealing with: Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water or a similar client ways of working & standards
- Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aidand full driving license.
- Beneficial: Temporary Works, EUSR Water etc.
Remuneration:
A day rateof up to 300 (dependant upon experience)
Can be paid CIS or Ltd / PAYE (outside of IR-35 achievable).
